Alter is a Toronto-based sauna and ice bath studio. Our mission is to make hot + cold more approachable and routine through a warm, welcoming, and community-oriented atmosphere.

Alter offers two types of sessions: Self-Led Drop-Ins and Classes. All sessions begin with a warm welcome and seamless check-in by Front Desk. Our multi-hour Drop-Ins allow guests to shape their own experience with the support of one of our Facilitators. Our signature Classes allow guests to be led through the experience by one of our Instructors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest check-ins: Manage session check-ins. Assist with guest registration and account updates. Ensure accurate attendance records.
• Studio operations: Open and close the studio according to established protocols. Ensure checklists are followed and equipment is properly set up and functional.
• Guest engagement: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Answer inquiries about schedule, pricing options, studio services and promotions.
• Studio maintenance: Assist with the upkeep of studio facilities, including tidying up common areas, running loads of laundry, folding towels and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Sales support: Accurately process payments for sessions, merchandise and any other transactions. Promote pricing options, merchandise and special offers.
• Administrative support: Answer phone calls, respond to emails and organize merchandise shelves. Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Reliable and punctual: Ability to consistently show up on-time and perform tasks accurately.
